Tweak your perfect Pals
A Palworld save editor for players who'd rather not grind for it. Open your Level.sav in the browser to set a Pal's level, IVs, passive skills and moves, edit your own character, and add, clone or delete Pals — no breeding runs or console commands.
Uploading and editing your save requires a free account. Sign in or create one to get started.
PalTweak is a free Palworld save editor that runs in your browser. Upload your Level.sav and change any Pal down to its hidden stats: level, IVs, souls, passive skills, active moves and even its species. Download the file, put it back in your save folder and load the game. There is nothing to install and no mod loader involved.
Most Pal stats are locked behind hours of catching, breeding and condensing. PalTweak lets you set them directly, so you can rebuild a favourite Pal, fix a breed that went wrong or try out a new team without farming for it first.
It isn't only Pals: you can edit your own character too — level, status points, HP, condition and name. And you can add a fresh Pal of any species to a player's box, clone an existing one or delete Pals you no longer want, each with a valid ID the game accepts.
What PalTweak does
Direct control over your Pals, all on one page in your browser.
Full Pal control
Level, IVs, passives, moves, souls, star rank, gender and species — heal, feed and cure sickness — and add, clone or delete Pals outright, each with a valid new ID.
Edit players too
Not just Pals: change your character's level, status points, HP, condition, voice and name.
Real in-game names
Pal and move names are read straight from your installed game, in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Nothing is stored
Your save stays in a temporary session while you edit and is dropped the moment you download. It is never written to disk or shared.
Everything you can edit on a Pal
From the level you see in-game to the IVs and souls hidden inside the save file.
Everything you can edit on your character
PalTweak isn't only for Pals — tune your own survivor too, from level and status points to condition and name.
How to edit your Palworld save in three steps
Upload Level.sav
Drag your Level.sav into the box. You'll find it in your local Palworld save folder:
Tweak your Pals
Search, filter and tweak stats, passives and moves with instant feedback.
Download & play
Grab the edited Level.sav, drop it back in your folder and load the game.
Made for the Palworld 1.0 save format
Palworld's save format changes with major updates, and that is where older editors tend to break. PalTweak is built and tested against the current 1.0 format, so an edited Level.sav loads back into the game cleanly. When a patch changes the format, the parser is updated to match.
An editor, not a mod
PalTweak only rewrites your save file. It never touches the game's own files, needs no mod loader, and leaves nothing installed to uninstall later.
Runs in the browser
Nothing to download or set up. Open the site, upload your save, edit it and download the result. It works the same on Windows, macOS and Linux.
No grinding required
Give a Pal the passives, moves and IVs you want instead of breeding for them for hours. Respec a build or test an idea in a minute or two.
On the roadmap
Inventory & items
Edit your bag and storage boxes. This needs the per-player save file, so it's coming in a later update.
Technology points
Unlock and reset your character's technology points. Coming later.
Frequently asked questions
Does PalTweak work with Palworld 1.0?+
Yes. PalTweak fully supports the current version of Palworld, including the latest 1.0 update, so your edited save loads without errors — and it opens saves from older versions too.
Is it safe to edit my save file?+
Editing save files is safe as long as the game is closed and you keep a backup. PalTweak never overwrites your original — you upload a copy and download a new file.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. PalTweak runs entirely in your browser. Upload your Level.sav, make changes and download it again — no install, no mods.
Does it work for dedicated / co-op servers?+
Yes. Any Level.sav from a local, co-op host or dedicated server world can be edited. Just make sure the server is stopped before you replace the file.
Will my save data be uploaded or shared?+
Your file is held only in a temporary editing session on the server and is discarded automatically. It is never shared or stored permanently.
Can I edit IVs, passive skills and moves?+
Yes. PalTweak edits a Pal's IVs (HP, Attack, Defense), its passive skills and its active moves, plus level, souls, star rank, gender, species and the lucky/boss flags — every value that lives in the save.
Can I change a Pal into another species?+
Yes. You can turn any Pal into any other species; PalTweak writes a valid CharacterID so the game loads it normally.
Can I heal my Pals in the editor?+
Yes. PalTweak can instantly heal a Pal to full HP, refill its hunger, restore its sanity and cure sickness — a one-click Full Heal on every Pal, with no items or waiting required.
Can I add, clone or delete Pals?+
Yes. You can add a brand-new Pal of any species to a player's box, duplicate an existing Pal, or delete Pals you don't want. Every added or cloned Pal gets a fresh, valid ID, so the edited save loads normally.
Can I edit my player character?+
Yes. Besides your Pals, PalTweak edits your own character: level and EXP, status points, current HP and shield, stomach and sanity, voice and display name — every player value stored in Level.sav.
Do I need to download anything?+
No. PalTweak is a fully online, browser-based editor — there is nothing to download or install, on any operating system.
